Founded on January 28, 1878, the Yale Daily News is the oldest college newspaper in the United States. The Yale Daily News Historical Archive provides access to digitized versions of printed issues of the Yale Daily News. The archive covers over 140 years of YDN reporting. The collection was made possible through an anonymous gift to the Yale Library and the creation of a new user-friendly website. The Yale Daily News Historical Archive is free and open to the public.
